  • A quarter pound burger in a Krispy Kreme Doughnut

FOOD. All day long I’ve been thinking of food, currently craving for Kung Pao Chicken Pasta from California Pizza Kitchen, a Belgian waffle topped with whipped cream and strawberry syrup and a tall glass of watermelon shake, but that’s not what I want to write about.

I’ve been thinking of food all day because, my 3 yr. old niece woke me up this morning (good thing I didn’t get a hangover from drinking last night) and asked me to go with her to the supermarket for her favorite bottled iced tea. I came home to Food Lovers Guide to the Planet : Digital Critics and Man VS Food. By the way having Cable TV is practically useless for me if I don’t get Discovery Travel and Living and NatGeo.

Through Man VS Food I found out that the Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburger, also called the Baseball’s Best Burger, really does exist.

Krispy Kreme Donut Bacon Cheeseburger, originally uploaded by sweetspot@f8.

It’s a quarter pound grilled burger with cheese and slices of bacon in a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut sliced in half. The doughnut is toasted for a bit and turned inside out so that the glaze melts with the cheese and burger patty! YUMMY!

Food Lovers Guide to the Planet’s episode was about Digital Critics where they featured four food bloggers, two of which caught my attention, Chez Pim and David Lebovitz! Their blogs is what I want my blog to be known, but I can’t talk about food alone.

I’ll try Chez Pim’s Pad Thai recipe soon!

    Enjoy their blogs!!!

    Heaven

1 Earth and Sky Green Tea (note green tea okay…)

    1 Sprite (1.5 L)

    1 GSM Blue

This is the “Killing me softly” type of drink.

It’s kinda difficult to look for Earth adn Sky Green tea, and I tried substituting it with other green teas but it doesn’t taste the same, so if you do see Earth and Sky green tea, do the following.

    1) Buy lots of it and stock it up for yourself, because you’ll love this drink

    2) Inform me where you got it.

I don’t know the size of the tea, if it’s the small pack (not the makes-1-liter type) pour half of it in a pitcher, .5L of Sprite and .5L of GSM blue. Stir it up, carefully because it will creat foam. Taste before you serve, it should taste like cotton candy, without any hint of gin!

    Velocity

According to Kristian it’s called Velocity, I don’t really know it’s just easy to set up and drink that’s why I like this.

1 bottle 700 ml GSM Blue (Ginebra San Miguel)

    1  bottle 2L Sprite

    1 20 oz. Gatorade (blue)

    Makes two pitchers. Put ice!

    Surfer on Acid (take 1)

    Jagermeister

    Malibu Rum

    Pineapple Juice

There are different versions of Surfer on Acid, but this is the one I tasted, I believe equal parts for all of them, shaked, if not equal parts, try experimenting, it should taste good! HAHA!
