Registry error loading key ‘Warcraft III\InstallPath’

So I was trying to install the 1.20e patch for Warcraft : Frozen Throne and I experienced a problem installing it.

The problem:

This program patches Warcraft 3
Registry error loading key ‘Warcraft III\InstallPath’
The system cannot find the file specified.

RESULT: Prepatch failed

The solution:

For XP users:

Open regedit, look for Warcraft3, mine was located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT > WARCRAFT III.

Create NEW key (click on the right pane, NEW). Type InstallPath as NAME and input the real location for the DATA. Ex. C:\WARCRAFT III\ Viola! Run the patch again and it should work.
