So is 2010 the year for Social Networking? the year for the iPhone, Android Apps?

There is a Social Network for almost everything, and you should be careful in joining them. But security and privacy is not what this is about, it’s about a new social networking site/app that you will LIKE.

GetGlue is an innovative social recommendation network for movies, books, and music. The GetGlue website provides a recommendation stream based on personal tastes, what friends like, and what’s most popular right now. The GetGlue browser addon brings filtered friend reviews, personal recommendations, and contextual content to popular sites around the web, such as Wikipedia, Amazon, IMDB, and hundreds more.

It’s simple. It almost similar to Facebook’s Like.

Through QuickRate, a list of things on Movies, Books, Music, Shows, Stars, Artists and Topics (plus more) will be shown, you either Like it, Hate it, Save it or well, do nothing. You’ll get streams from other people and you can subscribe to your friends and check out the things they like or hate. You can also write a review for them.

Like most Social Apps, you get badges! Look at my badges.

GetGlue also has a script you can add to your blog/site.

When you see those tiny GetGlue buttons, hover them and the popup shows you information about the item and option to like/hate it. It’s installed on this blog.

Get the photo’s colors in HEX.

So you saw a really nice picture or saw a work of art in a book or magazine, you want to use the colors in your own work of art?

You have an iPhone? Get myPANTONE.

If you don’t have an iPhone (or lost yours like I lost mine *sigh*) but you have an iPod touch? Here’s how I do it.

Grab your camera, take a picture of it, like this.

Sync your iPod to your pc to transfer the photo.

Go to myPANTONE and click on the Camera button (you take photos if it’s an iPhone). Look for your photo and click Choose.

Ipod Touch update 3.0

Ok. So I updated my iPod yesterday to 3.0 and here’s the list of things I like about it:

- Landscape keyboard – finally, I don’t get why they didn’t do this in the first place.

- Search – this feature is too amazing…

- Cut, Copy and Paste – phew, again, finally…

and lastly, Shake to shuffle – well this one is cool, but I’m wondering about it’s shaking sensitivity…

So is it worth the $9.95 I spent for it?

I have to say NO.

Why? I just don’t get why I always have to pay for my iPod to get updated.  But I still did anyway.

Now somebody please give me Sims for iPod and Chris Cendana album out on iTunes now, for free (as a gift I meant).

Finally, view .docs, .pdfs on your iPhone/iPod Touch

Released by BigBoss, this application can read you locally stored documents! Supported formats are, .pdf, .xls, .doc, .rtf to name a few.

Attention iPod Touch, iPhone, iPhone 3G owners, let’s get pimpin’

When I jailbroke my previous iPod Touch version, I fell in love with the application SMB – Summerboard (and I’m hoping they’ll offer it at iTunes store for free…) . Summerboard, allows you to customize your iPod more with wallpapers and themes, like this:

And since it’s not yet available (I don’t know why, am I the only one wishing for it for free over at iTunes store?) , we’re stuck with wallpapers, but no reason for us to pout, tsktsk, came Poolga (hehe funny name for a site, cute!)  where awesome iPod users meet awesome wallpapers for their Kichoo‘s.
