Fourth day of 2009.

I’m feeling incredibly worried and sad right now, and talking about it doesn’t really help take my mind off the things I don’t really want to think about right no…

So, 2009 isn’t looking good as I thought it would be.

I just answered a “New Year Meme” and its posted on my meme blog.

I lost my laptop Aki, it started when I used her to browse for a new laptop, do you believe that your personal stuffs actually get jealous, it’s either that or it’s actually the Law of Attraction doing it.

In 2008, I’m thankful for having survived working at the same company still, I’m thankful for Jen, for basically serving as a repository of my weird thoughts. I’m thankful I still have my friends, Aps, Jenny and Jerc. I’m thankful for Kristian, my prince, and Ron, the frog for all the nonsense moments. Froggy, thanks for always listening and giving your 2 cents. And of course, DT, thank you for the love and patience, and for making 2008 even more memorable.

This 2009, I expect to get my license (Electronics Engineer). I also expect a new laptop, I’m thinking of making the PC – to -MAC plunge btw. I wish to drink and party less and travel and save more. I expect to start my small business with Jenny too. I will not make a wish list this year in order for me to save more money.

I’m just so used to getting all hyped up that I just want to sit back and relax and watch the birds fly in the sky. But it is difficult cos it’s just …. not me.

I expect more problems, more sad moments I think, but definitely more super happy moments too.

Life’s a bitch, it takes one to know one.

2009?

Here are a couple of things I’m looking forward in 2009:

- First, getting my Electronics Engr. license, I SWEAR, I WILL F*CKING GET IT THIS YEAR… I WIIIIILLLLLLL!

- the Hongkong trip my dad promised as a prize for the license thing, and a possible new laptop, oh yeah! So buhbye for the car; I’ve been thinking for weeks now how to open this up to him and ask for a car as a prize for passing the boards but oh well….I badly need a laptop anyway.

- Trips trips trips, I will go to different places up North, some local beaches and definitely out of the country if my monetary capabilities allow me, or boyfriend gets lots of clients heehee.

- Losing 10-15 lbs. and eating healthy….

- Saving money… I don’t know how will this be possible but I will try to save more than I did this 2008

So I’m being realistic, I will actually be more productive this 09….I got most of the things on my wishlist for 2008, although I settled for a SE G900 instead of the pricey HTC Touch Pro (any HTC phone would have made my year a blast … but moving on), but I’m still droolin’ over the HTC Touch HD and I also still don’t have the white Dosh wallet…… so saving instead of spending and shopping is a good idea for the coming year.

That’s all for now…. And I’m turning 24 next year…. weird.

Going back to present…

I painted my nails dark blue last Sunday and my dad commented, (ok past actually….)

“You look like a hooker”.

*grins* Funny that he actually knows and uses it.

I asked our little brat to wear my Skully scarf and pose for the cam. Lookie…

I’m currently reading this book, Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult and I always doze off after every 15-20 pages. Damn. It’s not even a boring book!

Plurking How tos and Dress Up your Plurk page

First, I found this site where there are themes for your Plurk page.

And, now to the goodies..

1) Creating links! – When I first started using Plurk, I thought it reads html, but it doesn’t, so here’s how you do it.

If you want to post a Plurk message of the link to my blog showing “Kenna’s blog”, type  http://www.heinekenna.com (Kenna’s Blog)

2) Add a link to your Plurk friend or any Plurk user.

Simply put “@” before their usernames, like @kenna

3) Make your texts bold, italicized or underlined.

To make the text bold, **text** , to make it italic, *text*, and to underline it, _text_.

4) Videos and pictures anyone?

To insert images or videos (Youtube),  simple type the URL, Plurk will do the rest. For more info.
