    1. Do you like Thanksgiving? Why/why not?

Yes. I used to celebrate it actually, not the same time as they do in the States. But I like it. I know that there shouldn’t be a day to do this, but it’s nice to just be thankful and show the people around you how much they mean to you.

    2. What was a typical Thanksgiving like when you were growing up?

    I go to church.

    3. Are you looking forward to this year’s holiday season? Why/why not?

Yes. I always do, since December is my favorite month. A couple of things, drink, chill, yumyums!

    Third Thursday!

    Berry nice!

    California Berry Special

I went to Silvercity last night to satisfy my frozen yogurt cravings. I tried California Berry‘s, California Berry Special (shown above) which is frozen yogurt with mangoes, kiwis and strawberries as toppings.

There are three California Berry stores in the Philippines right now, one at Ortigas, where I went, Silvercity Mall, near Napoleon’s, one at Greenhills, at Madison Square and at Makati at the Paseo Center. Head on to their site for detailed maps on where to find them.

Have to say, their frozen yogurt is yummy, and I love that they’re using fresh fruits, but I liked Whitehat more.

    Wonder why I love December?

Because it’s my birthday month! And I love the cold but warm feeling of the season (warm because of all the love in the air haha).

Look what I got as an early birthday present (My mom got it on sale)! She wants (the bag) to go out and show off, so I’ll take her out on Friday and Saturday, yay!

    Fresh Palaweño Cuisine

Palawan is one of the best tourist spots in the Philippines, err, in the world. It boasts of white sandy beaches, diving spots and fresh sea food. If you’re in Manila and can’t go to Palawan for the perfect dining experience you don’t need to worry. Head to  Puerto Fresh Palaweño Cuisine, F36, Tiendesitas, Frontera Verde, E. Rodriguez cor Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City for the best Palaweño Cuisine at a good price.

    What’s good?

The food. The people. The place.

The food is perfect! You really should try it, and trust me, you’ll say the same (that it’s perfect, silly). The owners will tell you that it may take some time to prepare the food you’re about to enjoy since they’ll do it from scratch but the time it takes to prepare the food is not bad. The spices, the sauces, dips, are really good! The people, I’m not talking about the people who go to Tiendesitas, but actually the very accomodating managing partners of the store. They’re very accomodating you’ll feel like you’re someone of power, like a princess or something. The place, located at Tiendesitas, you’ll not only feel safe but you are basically within reach of almost anything you’ll need. Whether you’re there to enjoy the music or there to walk your dog, it’s really a cozy, homie place.

I tried and suggest the following…

Everything NILAGUB. I think, correct me if I’m wrong, that it means, grilled or “inihaw”. Nilagub na
Tanigue (Mackerel Steak), Nilagub na Manok (Chicken) and the Nilagub na Hipon (Shrimp), all a must-try! Their Pepper-Crusted Tanigue (Mackerel Steak) is heavenly, a bit spicy, hot, but tastes soooo good!

They also sell beer, which is a huge factor for me!

I give it 5 spoons because, I really enjoy eating there! The food is really satisfying and the price won’t really hurt your wallet, really worth it I tell you.

They accept catering services too, contact Rix at 0918-9239394.

If Razon’s Sizzling Bulalo makes your mouth water, Puerto Fresh Palaweño Cuisine’s food will do the same.

    Nothing.

It’s Monday again and I came from a long-weekend and what do I got? Nothing. No new theme for this blog, no new tumblr, no new SE UIQ3 theme neither. I know, I suck (insert naughty remark here).

Yesterday I was about to create the layout I had on my mind for a week now but then my laptop decides to play mind tricks on me (hehe, she does that, spec. whenever I think about replacing her, she’s the jealous-type), and so, not only did I did nothing with regards to the layout but I reinstalled my OS, and now, I need to reinstall every single thing I need in it. That’s ok, until Aki, my precious laptop, decided not to eat (aka, charge up).

Let’s go back three days from today. I took the SCTEX (Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway) to one of our provinces, Nueva Ecija and damn, wished I took the other route instead, SCTEX was nice, but that route was so freakin far, I arrived at Cabanatuan, with a not-so-good mood already. The traffic was so horrible my temper was flaring and I got into an accident,  I barely slept that night. Now, I have to worry about having the car fixed. The accident involves my right side mirror missing, my right front bumper scratched and myself, traumatized forever, hahaha. Damn those PUVs there anyway. !$%#@%& Argh!

What a way to start the week huh? Oh yeah, at least I have something to look forward to, 13th month pay, Twilight, and another long-weekend. I guess it’s not so bad.

    OOO

OOO, out of office for today. I’m heading to N. Ecija in about an hr, I just woke up so I need to fix the things I need to bring. I’ll be driving and there’s no internet connection for me there so I’ll try to plurk through PHPlurk or twit.

I’ll see you when I get back hopefully with a bunch of things:

    - I’m expecting I’ll finally be able to work on my blog’s new template.

    - Some tumblr and plurk themes

    - A blog post about my newest favorite place to eat, Puerto Palawan at Tiendesitas, for the mean time you can check out the place, though I haven’t written a review about it yet, basically they get 5 spoons out of 5 from me.

    Smile alright?
