China!
I’m leaving for China this weekend… I’ll be gone for 44 days. WOW. I will update this blog and hopefully finish off the things I should finish like my 365 and my other sites.
I’m excited!
I have my ticket already…. it’s final right?

I’m really really really excited.. AS IN. There’s a big chance that I’ll be leaving the country in two weeks, and I know I’m not supposed to write about it or tell anyone just so it won’t preempt anything…. but can’t help it (crossed fingers).
That’s it.
I’m excited.
Ooooh if you can guess where I’m going then I’ll give you a prize…. people who already know ain’t allowed to join… if eventually it won’t happen or the trip gets cancelled…. I’ll still give a prize..hihi
Ok, did you know that I refuse to use RSS readers? Google Reader?
No, haven’t tried, I just can’t get myself to use it…until Mark asked me about it yesterday…
At first I told him, No, I don’t use it, I like the old fashion way of going through blogs / sites, through blog hopping and literally opening all your blogs in different tabs, until this morning when I decided to check out Google Reader…well the cynic in me decided to go to Google and DownloadSquad first, and look up, “Best RSS reader”... that’s how I found, Fav.or.it.
Fav.or.it is a new kind of RSS aggregator, somewhere in between a pre-set collection of feeds like
Alltop and a full-on Google Reader-style service… Fav.or.it tries to pay attention to what you’re
paying attention to. ..Your comments show up in Fav.or.it and on the original story. It’s no reason to abandon Google Reader, but if you’re not already reading RSS feeds, this is a good introduction to managing them.
So there, let me try this one, and see what will happen next.
* Update 1 * Fav.or.it can’t change my username, well I was able to change it, but it won’t update, and since Google Reader now has comment, I’ll try it instead.
* Update 1 * Ok this sucks, apparently Google Reader doesn’t really allow you to comment on the site itself just at Google Reader, rawr! Now, I’m lost.
Which RSS reader do you use and why?
This is the first (and probably not the last) entry I will be posting with regards to the 2010 Elections here in the Philippines. I’ll keep this short and simple.
If you answer YES to the ff:
1) Are you annoyed about your incumbent mayor, or government official because it seems they have tons of projects right now compared to the previous years, even months?
2) Are you tired of seeing our government officials on NATIONAL TV, posters, sidewalks, EVERYWHERE?
Then let me tell you this…
Last Saturday, May 9, 2009, Dir. James Jimenez of COMELEC made a short presentation or talk about bagongbotante, election-computerization and some other things at the iBlog5. A blogger asked ( sorry I can’t remember who did) about what COMELEC’s currently doing to the potential candidates of the 2010 Elections who currently have paid advertisements on NATIONAL TV etc etc (something I personally want to know because they’re really annoying)..
Well the answer is NONE. Why? Because as Dir. Jimenez puts it, it’s just a citizen of this country exercising his/her right to “free speech”. WOW. Well apparently what Manny Villar, Mar Roxas, Bayani Fernando and the others are doing are OK and not covered by our law. It all comes back to you, the voter, will you vote for someone like them?
For more iBlog5 entries, Ms. Janette has a list.
So… a couple of things:
1) Expect and read Election blogs like, http://electionwatch.ph/ make sure to always keep your mind open and participate in forums, to enlighten others and ourselves too.
2) Speak what’s on your mind
3) Watch for your vote
and
4) READ READ READ
Yesterday I attended iBlog5 and one of the most important lessons I learned that day was the Golder hour or the magic hour from Faith and Fritz.
The Golden hour is
the first and last hour of sunlight during the day from. Typically, lighting will be softer and warmer in hue, and shadows will be quite pronounced as a result of the sun being so close to the horizon. Wikipedia
Happy shooting!
