    NoNoNoynoy

Haven’t blogged about the coming 2010 elections yet…

I’m searching for my new president and Noynoy doesn’t amuse me, really… and after reading this post, I’d like to highlight these things why I;m having second thoughts..

Atty. Trixie Angeles I think that we have already asked too much of the Aquinos….. How many hundred years before we can make do without politicians with surnames Roxas, Aquino, Cojuanco… oligarchy, anyone?

Amiel Aguilar Cabanlig Noynoy has authored a total of 9 bills which pales in comparison with the 738 bills filed by Miriam Defensor Santiago over the same period.

Noynoy has remained uncorrupted. But, I don’t see anything here either, “What Noynoy has done” post by Carlos Celdran.

Boldstar As far as I know, Noynoy Aquino, like his mother before him, is a reluctant presidentiable

Rain Barnido It is easy to ride on the tidal wave of public sentiment, but I would rather that we as a nation take a collective pause and breathe deeply. We have been very affective-driven in our choice of leaders. Noynoy, before Cory died, was a boring public personality with no scandal to his name and yet with no great achievement either.

So what are your thoughts? Who is your president?

    When Mercury turns retro

2009 has been a very crazy year for me (and it ain’t over yet)…

At 04:46 UT (Universal Time), on Monday, September 7th, 2009, Mercury the cosmic trickster turns retrograde at 6°13′ Libra, in the sign of the Scales, sending communications, travel, appointments, mail and the www into a general snarlup! The retro period begins some days before the actual turning point (as Mercury slows) and lasts for three weeks or so, until Sep. 29, when the Winged Messenger reaches his direct station. At this time he halts and begins his return to direct motion through the zodiac.

    7 Aquarius 43 – Sun, Jan 11

    1 Gemini 44 – Thu, May 7

    6 Libra 13 – Mon, Sep 7

21 Capricorn 46 – Sat, Dec 26 (I’ll probably have a blast on my birthday, which is on the 24th)

My Mercury Retrograde experience for this year (when Mercury turns retro 4 times instead of the usual three) started January.
