Bet Against Me

For the past years I made tons of bet and I can’t actually remember a time that I actually did won.

Last night, I went to the airport to pick up (well not exactly) my bestfriend, Rico. I was with two of his cousins (or nephew) can’t remember.

Anyway, I told them that we should bet on his shirt color (I always do this, make bets, and again, always lose). Ian was first to pick and he chose red, I told him “He never wears red!“. I chose next, “Black!”, because he always wear black,  90% confident that he’s wearing black. Ayo, the last one to pick, chose “Blue“. Hmmm, fair enough, he wears blue. I was already worried.

I keep on teasing Ian, “he never wears red, of all color!!!“. I even said, “Red, Blue, what the hell is he wearing the Philippine’ flag?”

We were waiting for more than an hour so the rules changed a bit to something like this.

- if all three colors are present, the dominating color wins

- if more than one color is present, well there will be one loser

Loser will treat the winner/s to Starbucks.

So we waited…and waited and waited. BTW, all three of us were wearing white.

He came, wearing this.

He arrived. WEARING WHITE.

With blue and red, in equal proportions. DAMN IT.

In other words, I AM A LOSER.
