She needs our help!

The previous weeks has been devastating for a number of countries all over the world, most specially here in Asia. It’s as if Earth’s giving us a last warning, a reminder of what we have been doing to Her for hundreds of years now.

Here in the Philippines, on September 26, 2009, Ondoy brought a month’s worth of rainfall to Metro Manila, our country’s capital. After just about a week, another typhoon came striking the northern part of the country this time. Areas are still submerged in water until now. (For ways to donate and help read here).

Since then, I started this site, Happy Berde, the aim of which is to educate people on how to start doing things differently, the greener way. The impact may not be huge, but I believe it’s significant.

I say, let’s start small.
